Overview
The OPTIFLUX 6400 is an electromagnetic flowmeter (EMF) for a wide range of conductive liquids in the food and beverage industry. It is particularly suitable for hygienic processes where high measurement accuracy, enhanced process and device diagnostics as well as wireless on-site verification capabilities are essential. Next to volumetric flow measurement, the meter also offers improved conductivity measurement with an extended range, enabling control and detection of product changes – for example, with changing media during cleaning processes.
The OPTIFLUX 6400 utilises OPTICHECK technology built-in comprising around 80 application and device diagnostics for a high degree of process safety and reliability. All measured data and diagnostic information can be easily accessed and customised via a wide range of configurable settings. The backlit display enables intuitive, colour-coded status recognition. The flowmeter is also equipped with a real-time clock, which enables event logging and analysis of the recorded diagnostics.
Next to continuous self-monitoring, the OPTIFLUX 6400 offers wireless parameterisation, real-time measurement monitoring and on-site verification via Bluetooth® in conjunction with the KROHNE OPTICHECK Flow Mobile app. A verification report can also be generated wirelessly at the push of a button – without interrupting production, opening the signal converter housing, or having to work in confined installation spaces. This significantly simplifies operation and maintenance, while also enhancing occupational safety.
The EMF can also operate in energy-saving EcoMode. In this mode, the meter's power consumption can be significantly reduced – without compromising measurement accuracy. It thus offers customers an additional option for making their energy use as sustainable and efficient as possible.
