Custody transfer metering systems for NUI
Metering solution for Normally Unmanned Installations
- Based on Coriolis and ultrasonic flowmeters in combination with SUMMIT 8800 flowcomputer
- Design and material selection for remote locations to minimise unplanned human interventions on-site
- Extended diagnostic features to allow remote monitoring and service
Visión general
KROHNE metering systems are used throughout the entire energy value chain both onshore and offshore. With the offshore experience in mind and a general customer drive to mimimise (unplanned) human interventions at remote locations for cost and safety reasons a metering system design is developped for NUI. Such systems have the right balance between adding equipment and instrumentation for redundancy versus simplicity and avoiding parts which can fail unexpectedly.
KROHNE is a one-stop shop that takes full project responsibility for their metering systems, from initial design to periodical maintenance on site. Where available KROHNE instrumentation is used, such as in-house manufactured Coriolis and ultrasonic flowmeters in combination with the KROHNE SUMMIT 8800 flowcomputer and SynEnergy HMI package. This allows for a fully integrated design, maximising the benefits of the available diagnostic information of the system and possibilities for remote monitoring and service.
Accurate and reliable instrumentation in combination with a smart design and enhanced materials minimise the unplanned maintenance interventions saving operational costs and reducing risks without compromising the performance of the installation
- Metering systems based on KROHNE or 3rd party instrumentation
- Highly reliable system design and material selection
- Vast experience with offshore measurement systems
- Single source responsibility for the metering and analyser system
- Compliance with local and international standards e.g. OIML, ONML, MID, API, AGA, etc.
